Gateway to the Balkans – Hungarian agricultural innovations in Novi Sad
As in previous years, one of the Western Balkans’ largest and most significant agricultural industry events – the 92nd International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad – kicked off with a strong Hungarian presence, featuring 21 Hungarian exhibitors. Organized by CED, Hungarian companies are participating not only in the exhibition but also in professional conferences and business meetings to support more effective entry into foreign markets.

The fair, which hosts over 1,200 exhibitors, officially opened its doors at the Novi Sad Fair Congress Centre, drawing thousands of visitors and professionals from across the region. Hungary’s 500-square-meter national stand is among the most prominent international showcases, reflecting the country's growing role in regional agribusiness.

The aim of this prominent Hungarian participation is not only to build business relationships and gain insights into market trends, but also to enhance brand awareness of Hungarian companies in the strategically important Serbian market, which shows strong demand for Hungarian products and can serve as a springboard to other markets across the Western Balkans.

Beyond offering exhibition opportunities, CED is also supporting the strengthening of Hungarian companies' market presence through the organization of a professional forum combined with a business networking event. Held as a side event of the fair, the “Smart Solutions for the Development of Agricultural Enterprises” – Hungarian-Serbian Professional Day brings together Hungarian exhibitors and invited Serbian distributors, professional organizations, and business leaders who are open to deepening economic and business relations between Hungary and Serbia.
