THE 64TH AGRA TRADE FAIR KICKED OFF WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF TEN HUNGARIAN COMPANIES
Ten Hungarian companies are showcasing their competitive portfolios of products and services, as well as their innovative technological solutions, at the AGRA International Agricultural and Food Industry Fair in Gornja Radgona. CED, which is organising the Hungarian delegation, is also supporting the successful participation of the companies representing our country at the fair with a themed professional programme.

Now in its 64th edition, AGRA is one of the leading trade and business events in the Central European agricultural and food industry. In addition to agricultural production and mechanisation, its scope covers the food industry, livestock farming, water management, as well as sustainable and precision technologies. The event thus provides an excellent platform not only for showcasing the latest developments and technological solutions, but also for building supplier relationships, exploring new sales channels and strengthening the company’s regional presence.

Given the event’s professional relevance, the geographical proximity of the Slovenian market, and the wide-ranging economic cooperation between the two countries, Slovenia represents an important export market for Hungarian businesses. Accordingly, CED is representing Hungary at the exhibition this year alongside 10 of its partners.

The Hungarian companies taking part in the exhibition will be showcasing, amongst other things, agricultural and food-processing machinery, precision drone technologies, industrial pump systems, and solutions designed to support plant nutrient supply and plant conditioning at the collective national stand.

As a side event to AGRA, the CED’s regional office is organising a Hungarian–Slovenian professional seminar entitled ‘Innovative Responses to the Challenges of a Changing Climate’. The programme focuses on technological solutions to water management and climate challenges affecting agriculture, and their practical applicability. The technical presentations will be followed by B2B meetings between Hungarian and Slovenian businesses, facilitating the establishment of new business relationships and the exploration of opportunities for cooperation.
