CED PARTICIPATED IN TUSVÁNYOS WITH VARIOUS PROGRAMMES

The Bálványos Summer Open University and Student Camp, i.e. Tusványos was organised thirty-first time, in the colourful program offer of which the CED Central European Economic Development Network Nonprofit Ltd. played an active role. CED organised several roundtable discussions addressing the topics such as entry into foreign market, enterprise development, or the economic developments and investments in the region.

After two years, the Bálványos Summer Open University and Student Camp, i.e. Tusványos, the most significant cultural events of the Hungarians living within the Carpathian Basin was organised again. Almost 400 presentations in 27 locations were waiting for the visitors, among others regarding economy, environment, foreign policy and national policy.

Similarly to the previous years, the CED played a role in the program offer of this event by organising several side-events. The enterprise development training of the CED, the CEDucation, was organised first time ever outside the borders of Hungary, within the framework of Tusványos.

With the title “Multira magyar” (Get multinationalised, Hungarian) we organised a roundtable discussion where in addition to the presentation of the programmes announced by the Hungarian Government, the specific export markets, export opportunities, success stories regarding investments, which produce exportable products with high added value were introduced.

Furthermore, the CED organised the traditional roundtable discussion titled “Carpathian Basin - the economic field of force” with the participation of cross-border Hungarian representation associations and foundations. The professional forum focused the current actualities, the achieved results and the future trends of the Economic Development Programmes performed in the Carpathian Basin areas inhabited by Hungarians and announced by the Hungarian Government.
