CED organises the Rohonczy Gastro Festival for the second time, which, like last year, will be organised this year as an accompanying event of the Gombaszög Summer Camp. During the two-day event, the organisers welcome the interested participants with a demonstration kitchen, wine and pálinka tastings, and round table discussions on gastronomic and economic topics.
This year's Gombaszög Summer Camp, the most significant summer community, cultural and musical event of the Hungarians in Upper Hungary, awaits the interested participants in several locations and with hundreds of programmes. The event awaits the visitors with several concerts, cultural and gastronomic programmes, as well as with discussions on political and public issues.
The CED Central European Economic Development Network Nonprofit Ltd. joined the organisers of the camp this year as well, by organising the Rohonczy Gastro Festival which was already successfully introduced last year, and the related round table discussions.
During the gastronomic event held within the framework of the Gombaszög Summer Camp, the participants of the enterprise development programme, i.e. the ROHONCZY Gedeon Mentor Programme, launched by the CED, will be present in the camp together with popular and internationally renowned restaurants. Visitors are waited among others by a demonstration kitchen, wine and pálinka specialities and round table discussions.
“The last year’s Rohonczy Gastro Festival was one of the most successful events of out mentor programme in 2022, thus, there was no doubt for us to go there this year as well. The Gombaszög Summer Camp is for every age group, therefore, our mentees get real feedbacks about their products. As the ROHONCZY Gedeon Mentor Programme is getting to the end, it is of utmost importance to be able to measure the development of the participants” - said CSÍK László, the general manager of CED.
The Gombaszög Summer Camp is waiting for the participants between 11-16 July, while the Rohonczy Gastro Festival on 14 and 15 July.
The mentor programme is going to end soon
CET launched its professional programme aiming the development and the mentoring of food industry companies of Upper Hungary, the ROHONCZY Gedeon Mentor Programme, the purposes of which were to provide professional support of the selected companies operating in the field of organic production and premium quality products and to increase their business efficiency and competitiveness.
“During the two-year programme, companies are supported by well-prepared and renowned mentors having already proven their skills in international markets, together with the expert team of CED. In the past period, our mentees have made serious progress, as a result of which their image has been renewed, they have optimised their production and manufacturing processes - thus achieving a higher quality finished product -, and owing to this, they have already been included in the offer of several popular Hungarian restaurants, not forgetting the prestigious international awards they have won” - said CSÍK László about the programme.
The first ROHONCZY Gedeon Mentor Programme is going to finish this year. After mentoring, CED supports the companies to reach the Central European markets and to develop their export activity.
