The 1st Carpathian basin Hungarian Entrepreneurship Conference was organized by CED

The 1st Carpathian basin Hungarian Entrepreneurship Conference was organized by CED Central European Economic Development Network Nonprofit Ltd. and St. Georgius Manager Club for the fist time but in a tradition-making way.

Nearly 300 entrepreneurs, business executives and representatives of the invited professional organizations from Transylvania, Vojvodina, the Highlands and Hungary attended the event.

The event represented all of the region's success sectors, with a significant number of participants from the agricultural, food, mechanical, light, and construction industries.

Participants received up-to-date market and economic information to help them enter the Romanian market, learn about the region's investment features, the challenges they face in their export processes, and share the experience and best practices of successful exporters.

,, The aim of the 1st Carpathian Basin Entrepreneurship Conference was to create opportunities for the direct contacts between the local companies in the Carpathian Basin and local companies in Hungary, but also in Upper Hungary or in Vojvodina. It could facilitate the dynamic development of the Hungarian entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Carpathian Basin.

The high number of participants shows that there is a great need for professional cooperation and conferences in this field, ”said László Csík, Managing Director of CED Central European Economic Development Network Nonprofit Ltd.

“I am convinced that the economic strength of our region also lies in the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises. This is why the professional support and development of local companies is a priority objective of our organization, for which the 1st Carpathian Basin Business Conference provides an excellent platform. We are confident that the participating companies will have many success stories thanks to the event, "said Zsolt Szathmáry, president of the co-organizer St. Georgius Manager Club.
