THE 89TH NOVI SAD INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURAL FAIR WILL START WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF HUNGARY AS A GUEST OF HONOR

This year is the 89th time, that the Novi Sad International Agricultural Fair, one of the most important agricultural professional events in the region, is being organized, of which Hungary is a partner country this year. Every year, the fair is surrounded by special attention, hundreds of exhibitors present themselves to tens of thousands of professional visitors each year, so the status of a partner country has a special diplomatic and economic importance.

The Hungarian participation will take place in three locations, with a total floor area of more than 1,200 square meters. At the main collective national stand that's size is about 300 square meters, those who are interested can learn about Hungary's unique economic, intellectual, cultural, touristic and gastronomic values – through the accompanying events presented at the stand that are among other things cultural performances, tasting of wine and traditional Hungarian food.

Besides the main national stand, two more outdoor and indoor stands have been set up for the 35 export-capable Hungarian companies presenting themselves as exhibitors at the event. This way, the participating Hungarian companies have the opportunity to present their product and service portfolio in a wide professional circle, to get to know the current trends in the industry, and to expand their regional network.

To facilitate this, CED will also organize a professional forum with B2B meetings as part of the fair, to which Serbian resellers and distributors matching the profile and needs of Hungarian participants have been invited, thus ensuring that Hungarian companies find the areas where they can predict long-term and successful collaborations.

The exhibition also awaits those who are interested with a number of cultural program elements

During the Novi Sad International Agricultural Fair, a number of cultural elements also colors the Hungarian appearance. Among other things, a permanent photo exhibition - with the participation of the World Association of Hungarian Photographers -, folk music and folk dance performances, dance theater production with live music by the Katona József National Theater of Kecskemét as a guest, or a tasting of Hungarian wine and gastronomic specialties awaits the visitors.

„Through the status of a guest of honor, in addition to Hungary's economic results, we also have the opportunity to present the country's centuries-old traditions and cultural heritage, and to promote its touristic attraction. Thus, we provide a complex industry outlook that can predict the dynamics of cooperation between Hungary and Serbia in many areas.” – said László Csík, the managing director of the Central European Economic Development Network Nonprofit Kft., that organizes and coordinates the Hungarian participation.
