CEDucation Conference

The CED Central European Economic Development Network Nonprofit Ltd. organised its business development training “CEDucation Conference” in Budapest. The Budapest event of the training series with high popularity throughout Central Europe was organised filled to capacity, and the presentations and discussions covered almost every aspect of business.

One of the most popular service elements of the CED Central European Economic Development Network Nonprofit Ltd., the CEDucation, reached a new milestone, as the free-of-charge business development training series was organised first time as an all-day conference reflecting almost every challenge of companies.

The free-of-charge programme was subject to huge interest, as two weeks before the event, there were no places to book. The training series launched two years ago has been organised in several locations outside Budapest and also abroad, therefore, the topics and the speakers of this event were selected on the basis of the experience and the participant feedbacks of the previous events.

From marketing strategy until entry into international market

The CEDucation conference included interactive presentations and a roundtable discussion with the participation of the managers of public companies which support the positioning and the entry thereof into international markets.

Among others, the presentations covered the topics of efficient marketing strategies, the opportunities to enter international markets, the smooth change of generation or the awareness of consumer trends. During the workshop “How can we help the companies? - roundtable discussion about export, international markets and business development”, the managers of the CED, the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA) and the Agricultural Marketing Centre (AMC) introduced the service portfolios of the companies they represent, together with the opportunities provided by the public companies.

In the event, METYKÓ Tibor the marketing and communication manager of the Euronics, STEIGERVALD Krisztián generation researcher, BALOGH Levente businessman, investor and the president of the Szentkirályi Magyarország, LÁSZLÓ Judit export development consultant and HILD Imre the general manager of the Óbuda Uni Venture Capital had presentations.

“We organised a meaningful conference which was hopefully useful for the participants as well. During this conference, we endeavoured to provide any important knowledge and professional background - via good practices and examples to follow - which facilitate the dynamic development of Hungarian companies and their successful entry into international markets. I am convinced that the Hungarian companies are able to provide internationally competitive products or services, which are appreciated globally as well. I hope that this conference helped them achieve their goals” - said CSÍK László, the general manager of the CED.

Training goes on abroad

After the conference in Budapest, the CEDucation goes on a tour out of Hungary again, including Transylvania and Upper Hungary. Further information about the events and further free training videos are available at www.ced.hu/cedukacio.
