CED Central European Economic Development Network Nonprofit Ltd. and the Baross Foundation are launching an educational tender for food industry companies in the Highlands under the name of Gedeon Rohonczy Mentoring Program. By involving renowned winemakers, gastronomists, economists and sales and marketing professionals, the aim of the call is to facilitate the successful entry of those young Hungarian companies into foreign markets, which produce high value-added food products that are competitive on international markets too.

In all cases, after the submission of the application materials, the applicant company and its environment will be pre monitored. The companies selected on the basis of the professional criteria system receive a company-specific, complex educational theme, during which they can develop with the help of mentors, accompanied from farmland to sales and can get to know the processes in details.

During the two-year mentoring program, the winning applicants will have the opportunity to develop - among other things - their company/product and sales portfolio, to build up their business and marketing strategy, to expand their relationship system. By completing the program, the participants can not only acquire the professional knowledge and educational material that is necessary for successfully entering the foreign market, but they can have a specific product portfolio, a strong brand that is suitable for sale.

The working language of the submission of the applications, the mentoring and the professional events related to the program is Hungarian. CED is waiting for applicants to apply for the mentoring program between the 14th of May and the 18th of June, 2021. Further information about the submision of an application and the conditions for participation is available on the website of the ROHONCZY program.
